About the Company
STABILITY. Brawdy Construction was founded in 1951 in Buffalo, New York by Thomas H. Brawdy. Jim Brawdy, a second-generation owner/operator, has spent a lifetime in the commercial construction field and is dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality products and craftsmanship. Brawdy Construction has grown from a small family business into a thriving multi-million dollar corporation specializing in a wide range of quality commercial construction services. The company employs approximately 75 full-time tradesmen and features eight distinct field crews, each with their own field superintendent. Each crew specializes in a specific field of quality commercial construction services including Site Excavation, Foundations/Form Work, Flatwork, and Masonry.
KEY ADVANTAGES:
SAFETY. Every employee participates in an OSHA-certified safety-training course. Field superintendents have taken a thirty-hour training course and field employees have taken a ten-hour training course. Additionally, on site weekly toolbox talks are given, along with spot safety inspections by a certified third party inspector. On site equipment training is also given to employees. Brawdy has a zero-tolerance safety program.
Schwing Pump Truck
Brawdy has more than 50 years of specialized experience in large commercial concrete and masonry construction jobs; owning equipment enhances our efficiency and productivity. Our 2008 Schwing 2023-4 SC S28X Concrete Pump truck creates high speed construction on projects. There is no scheduling issues with a third party allowing us to pour when we are ready thus avoiding costly delays.
