Over the cold winter months, Brawdy Construction holds
training classes for safety and hosts a masonry apprenticeship program. Tradesmen learn the skill of building walls with masonry units and the importance of positioning, cutting off excess mortar and jointing to finish it off with a neat appearance.
At Brawdy Construction, one of our primary initiatives is to encourage younger generations to pursue careers in the building trades. In 2016 we were proud to work with the Erie1Boces Building Trades programs visiting classrooms and interacting with students. We even had the opportunity to give the Harkness Center’s senior students a tour of a live job site as pictured in the slideshow above. We look forward to a continued partnership with Erie1Boces.
